Why Individual Giving?

The Production Hub chose to support the individual giving category because it is so closely aligned to what the business does every day. Individual giving still for many charities represents the lion share of their income. Because of that there is a lot of pressure on the marketers and individual giving managers to ensure their campaigns are successful and that is where The Production Hub come in.

Most of the team at The Production Hub have been focused on the charity sector and in particular the individual giving programmes for over a decade. The team are acutely focused on the two primary goals of any individual giving campaign

  1. Campaign performance

  2. Cost control

It is The Production Hub’s transparency and pursuit of these two goals that have attracted charities from Blue Cross to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home and Mencap to continue to choose The Production Hub.

The Future of Individual Giving Direct Mail in 2017

The direct mail component of individual giving is changing rapidly. New regulation in GDPR and a move from opt-out to opt-in is starting to establish itself as the model of the future for larger charities. The Production Hub are increasingly finding clients wanting to manage shorter run highly targeted campaigns. The Clever DM team are more regularly than ever dealing with campaigns requiring data hygiene services, dynamic artwork and up to 50+ variants to a pack. The shorter run, highly targeted work often being supported with experimental door drops, inserts or one-to-many tactics.

“The era of spray and pray direct mail is long gone. All of the charities we deal with are increasingly adopting Clever DM as a way of maximising performance and ensuring compliance. We continue to invest in the services and software to help us exceed the goals of our clients.
