Tuesday 29th of November marked 26 years of the National Fundraising Awards. This tent-pole event in the fundraising calendar helps to recognise excellence, innovation and individual performance in the voluntary sector. The ceremony was hosted by celebrity comedian Ed Byrne at the Troxy in east London. The Production Hub were joined by 18 clients including award nominees RNIB.

Best Individual Giving Campaign – Sponsored by The Production Hub
The Production Hub sponsored the Best Individual Giving Campaign which was won by WaterAid for their excellent Deliver Life campaign. This campaign aims to raise £5 million to provide midwives and mums with safe water in areas such as Tanzania, Malawi, Madagascar and Ethiopia.
Why Individual Giving?
The Production Hub chose to support the individual giving category because it is so closely aligned to what the business does every day. Individual giving still for many charities represents the lion share of their income. Because of that there is a lot of pressure on the marketers and individual giving managers to ensure their campaigns are successful and that is where The Production Hub come in.

New regulation in GDPR and a move from opt-out to opt-in is starting to establish itself as the model of the future for larger charities.
