The 14th of October is World Standards Day, a day which recognises the importance of striving to meet goals. This year’s theme is a ‘shared vision for a better world’. The day is celebrated by members of the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), ISO (The International Organization for Standardization) and ITU (International Telecommunication Union).

As many of you know The Production Hub is proud to hold both ISO27001 and ISO9001.
ISO27001 is the international standard prescribing best practice for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). It provides a framework for establishing, implementing, operating, monitoring and improving information management using a six part process model.
Due to the complexity involved in adhering to the controls outlined by the standard few organisations receive a Class 1 pass. However, in our last audit we did just that! The accreditation builds a culture of security; aiming to safeguard valuable data and information assets.
At the same time we also passed the audit for ISO9001 with flying colours, also achieving a Class 1 pass. ISO9001 is one of the most recognised quality management systems globally. It was designed and is continuously developed to be a key business development tool, providing a framework and set of principles that ensure a common-sense approach to the management of an organisation in order to consistently satisfy customers and other stakeholders. In simple terms, provides the basis for effective processes and effective people to deliver an effective product or service time after time – or even more simply put it enables us to provide you with the quality service you’ve come to expect from us.
We believe that ISO accreditation is an important part of our commitment to best practice and the fact that we are one of only a handful of organisations in the UK that have achieved such a clean passes for both International Standards is testament to our hard work, our clients and the high bar we all set for ourselves!
