Q3 2025 has delivered another standout performance for mail, with consumer engagement continuing its upward trajectory across Direct Mail, Door Drops and Business Mail.

One of the quarter’s most striking trends is the rise in in-home sharing: 10.1% of mail is now passed on to someone else in the household — the highest level in five years. This uplift has pushed item reach higher across all mail types, with the average Direct Mail piece shared with an additional fifteen people per hundred, and Door Drops with six.

Direct mail performance in Q3 2025
Crucially, improved engagement is translating into meaningful commercial outcomes. Mail’s full-funnel impact was evident once again: purchases and donations prompted by mail rose 7% year on year and website visits driven by mail reached 9.4%, matching the record set during Q2 2020.
These gains send a clear signal to marketers: mail remains a high-performing, high-attention channel capable of delivering the KPIs that matter for both brand and performance campaigns. With consumers demonstrating growing appetite for well-crafted mail communications, the channel’s value continues to compound through stronger reach, deeper engagement and consistent action-driving power.
As Q3’s results show, mail is not just holding its ground, it is expanding its role as a reliable, high-impact touchpoint in the marketing mix.
